We will give talks and show people what truly happens around the world - telling high schoolers and collegiates what they can do to make a change. We will suggest lifestyle changes that save resources and materials.
My goal for this project is to set up collection boxes within the community so people can easily drop off their old electronics. I have handed out flyers to let people know where they can drop their electronics off, and many flyers will remain in the town's garden center, so people can pick them up as they choose.
Our special needs classroom will create and run a Recycle Center inside our Elementary School: 1. Collect recyclables. 2. Sort material. 3. Track data 4. Earn coins "change" for each piece of recycled material. 5. Donate "change" to conservation of threatened habitat and protection of endangered species in Africa.
Build, decorate and display a Peace Pole and peace banner. Set up times with teachers to go into their classes and speak to students about the importance of peace and how the UN promotes this. Also reminder of the 3r's!

2 friends are working hard doing Environmental Education in the neighborhood and teaching to other kids how to change the way we relate to nature.
Los Manglares school is transforming education in our city. An alternative school based completely on R&S curriculum. Students learn by community projects; parents, teachers and students involved in local intervention towards better conditions for environment, animals and peace among human beings. So far our biggest projects are Peace and conservation of the river Gaira in our city.
