We will build our own solar powered Photon based weather station that collects wind, rain, soil temperature, soil moisture, atmospheric pressure, temperature, and humidity data. All data is uploaded via WiFi and accesible in the classroom. Students and teacher will use these tools to monitor key information about our garden, collect and analyze data, or design experiments to learn about garden biology.

Our project will help people think more about what they are using on and in their bodies for their own well-being; not just for essential oils, but everything else they buy. We will post on media websites and possibly make flyers to hang up and brochures to hand out. The Earth Girls hope that people will be cautious of the unnatural things in this world, and will chose to walk the natural path of life.

Our garden projects were started last year and have been making strides this academic year. Our garden bed for the cafeteria project has been delivered just this week. One of our balcony gardens is flourishing and we are in the works of fundraising and collecting donations of reusable containers and supplies for the remainder of our gardens, including a butterfly garden. A sub-committee of the MET's Environmental Committee to has been set up to over see the project.
