The Problem
We are trying to replace our styrofoam lunch trays with a more sustainable option. We also want to launch a single-use plastic education program so students understand where all the styrofoam is going in the environment.
Our Plan
I have been in contact with our food service director, as well as the head cook at my high school. We're making a lot of progress so far! For the education piece, the plan is to start by giving presentations at the intermediate school and high school.
